Coach Joe Crosby Delivers Keynote Address at United Way of Anderson County Annual Meeting

On Thursday, May 29, 2008 approximately 200 people attended the 2008 United Way of Anderson Annual Meeting, at the Hilton Garden Inn – Anderson, South Carolina. During the annual meeting the United Way of Anderson recapped its fundraising campaign, existing programs and new initiatives.
As part of its annual meeting, the United Way invites a local community member to deliver the keynote address to its staff, volunteers, supporters and patrons. The theme of the 2008 keynote address was about inspiration, motivation and encouragement. Coach encouraged the audience to continue following their dreams regardless of what others tell them cannot happen. Coach also shared his life story, including; his successes and struggles. Coach did not hesitate to encourage the audience to keep their faith alive. He also credited and thanked God and his family for their support through the journey.
The United Way of Anderson County met and exceeded its 2007 goals and expectations.
