The Second Annual
Coach's Low Country BrandsTM Charity Golf Tournament

Clemson University ’s Walker Golf Course played home to the 2nd Annual Coach’s Low Country BrandsTM Charity Golf Tournament, August 23 – 24, 2007 . Kicking off the tournament Thursday, August 23, 2007 was a cocktail reception and silent auction in the ballroom of the Madren Conference Center at Clemson University .

The nearly-sold out tournament, held Friday, August 24, 2007 generated over $40K for the Joe & Kristina Crosby Education Foundation, including; sponsorships, donations, silent auction and raffle. Immediately following the tournament; players and guests dined on Coach’s Low Country Boil®. This annual event is held to provide college scholarships, classroom supplies for grades K – 5 and purchase school supplies for students K – 5. In addition, this year the Coach's Low Country BrandsTM Charity Golf  Tournament supports the Professional Golf Management program at Clemson University by providing scholarships for minority students. The Professional Golf  Management (PGM) concentration in the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management Department at Clemson University provides a unique educational opportunity for students who desire to become PGA professionals.

 

The 3rd Annual Coach’s Low Country BrandsTM Charity Golf Tournament will be held August 21 – 24, 2008 . The 2008 Golf Tournament will also include a gala and live auction on Saturday, August 23, 2008 .
